Hiking from Illecillewaet at Glacier National Park

We stopped at the Glacier National Park for hikes, and realized we could camp there. This park was really cool because you can’t reserve a camping spot, you have to show up the same day you want to camp and drive up to the spot you want, if it’s available. It’s a cool experience to find the perfect spot to camp, and we found a great one next to the river.

We did the Great Glacier hike, and Marion Lake hike. Quite challenging but offering rewarding views.

Climbing The Red Rock
At the end of the Hike, you could climb this giant red rock and get a amazing view of the whole valley. Not for the faint of heart, but worth it! -- make sure to hold your keys tight!
